“Yumi’s Cells,” “One The Woman,” And “The Veil” Begin Fierce Battle For Viewership Ratings

Three highly-anticipated new dramas premiered at the same time last night!

On September 17, tvN’s “Yumi’s Cells,” SBS’s “One the Woman,” and MBC’s “The Veil” all joined the Friday-Saturday viewership ratings fray.

One the Woman,” a new comedy drama starring Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon, led the pack with an average nationwide rating of 8.2 percent for its first episode.

The drama was up against some stiff competition: Namgoong Min’s new spy drama “The Veil,” which aired during the same 10 p.m. time slot, followed close behind with an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent.

Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun’s new romantic comedy drama “Yumi’s Cells,” which aired in a slightly overlapping time slot at 10:50 p.m. KST, premiered to an average nationwide rating of 2.1 percent.
