tvN’s upcoming drama “Sh**ting Stars” has unveiled a new teaser!
“Sh**ting Stars” is a romantic comedy about the people who work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry cleaning up the messes created by the stars. The drama depicts the realistic story of people who stand behind the celebrities and shed blood, sweat, and tears to make them shine like stars in the sky.
Lee Sung Kyung will star as Oh Han Byul, the head of the PR team at an entertainment agency, while Kim Young Dae will play her nemesis, the A-list star Gong Tae Sung who is also a troublemaker.
The newly released teaser gives a fun glimpse of some of the celebrities who will be making special appearances in the drama.
In the clip, Oh Han Byul and her PR team deal with a variety of people, including Park Jung Min, Song Ji Hyo, Lee Sang Woo, Kim Seul Gi, Lee Ki Woo, Chae Jong Hyeop, Moon Ga Young, and Kim Dong Wook.
During dinner with Oh Han Byul, Park Jung Min comments, “They say that the most useless thing to do in the world is worry about celebrities.” Oh Han Byul replies, “You can think of celebrities as a different species from us. Kind of like aliens?”
Song Ji Hyo struts forward with charisma, but as soon as she sits down, she rests her head on the table, and Oh Han Byul’s voiceover comments, “Our actress isn’t feeling well at the moment.”
Lee Sang Woo exudes prickly vibes as he sits in a van, and Kim Seul Gi turns into a two-faced idol who acts bright and cute in public but speaks roughly with a cigarette in her mouth when she’s alone.
Then there’s Lee Ki Woo, an actor who overly immerses in his role and even cries at the sight of mayflies. Kim Dong Wook and Moon Ga Young, who previously appeared as lovers in “Find Me in Your Memory,” will appear as a couple once again.
Throughout everything, there’s one celebrity who sticks by Oh Han Byul’s side: Gong Tae Sung. The two showcase quarrelsome chemistry, but he vehemently tells someone, “Don’t ever fire Oh Han Byul.” Towards the end of the clip, she says with a grateful smile, “I know it’s late, but thank you.”
“Sh**ting Stars” will premiere on April 22 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
