“Lovers Of The Red Sky” Maintains Top Spot In Ratings As “The King’s Affection” Slightly Drop

The tight race between the two Monday-Tuesday historical dramas continues!

According to Nielsen Korea, the October 18 broadcast of SBS’s “Lovers of the Red Sky” garnered average nationwide viewership ratings of 8.9 percent, which is a 0.1 percent increase from last week‘s score of 8.8 percent. The drama continued to defend its position as the No. 1 Monday-Tuesday evening drama.

KBS 2TV’s new historical drama “The King’s Affection” recorded average nationwide viewership ratings of 6.5 percent for episode 3. This was a slight drop from the previous episode’s record of 6.7 percent.

tvN’s “High Class” achieved average nationwide viewership ratings of 4.3 percent with a peak of 5.4 percent, making it the most watched cable TV program in its time slot. The drama did not air the previous week on October 12 due to the live broadcast of the World Cup preliminaries.
