Lee Sang Yi and Woo Do Hwan In Talks To Star In Upcoming Netflix Series “Hunting Dogs” With Kim Sae Ron

On November 4, Lee Sang Yi’s agency officially confirmed that the actor was in talks to star in the upcoming Netflix series “Hunting Dogs” (literal translation).

A representative of the agency stated, 

“It’s true that Lee Sang Yi has received a casting offer from the producers of the new Netflix series ‘Hunting Dogs.’ Nothing has been decided yet, but he is currently reviewing the offer with a favorable outlook.”

On November 2, it was reported that Woo Do Hwan would also be starring in the upcoming Netflix original series “Hunting Dogs” (literal title) following his discharge from the military. Following reports, a source from Woo Do Hwan’s agency KeyEast clarified, 

“Woo Do Hwan is positively reviewing the offer to star in ‘Hunting Dogs.’”

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Hunting Dogs” is described as an “action noir” drama about three men attempting to get out of debt. The series, which will be released in eight parts, will be helmed by director Kim Joo Hwan of “Midnight Runners” and “The Divine Fury.”

Kim Sae Ron and Park Sung Woong have both been confirmed for the upcoming series, while Woo Do Hwan is currently in talks to join the cast.
