Cha Eun Woo may be starring in a new webtoon-based drama!
On August 26, News1 reported that the ASTRO member received an offer for “Dak Gang Jeong” (romanized title) by director Lee Byung Hun. The title refers to a Korean dish of sweet and sour fried chicken.
In response to the report, Cha Eun Woo’s agency Fantagio commented, “Director Lee Byung Hun’s ‘Dak Gang Jeong’ is one of the projects that [Cha Eun Woo] was offered. A decision has not been made yet.”
Based on a webtoon, the “Dak Gang Jeong” drama will be directed and written by director Lee Byung Hun, who previously created hits including “Melo Is My Nature” (also known as “Be Melodramatic”), “Extreme Job,” and “Twenty.” It will be 12 episodes and is currently in the process of casting.
